Does anybody have any idea how to solve this issue? Thank you! We are using Microsoft Server 2019 as OS. Instead the PDF’s which came in via e-mail open in a Foxit Reader popup which means IHS Master cannot process the invoice. But the PDF’s which were scanned to PDF’s manually do. All the PDF’s which came in from vendors via e-mail don’t open embedded within IHS Master. To make sure PDF’s would open embedded within IHS Master, we installed Foxit PDF Reader 12.5 with the command line parameters “FX_IEBROWSER” and “FX_PDFVIEWER”. To address this issue, we have upgraded to version 12.5 on 2 test servers. IHS Master in combination with Foxit Reader 10.7 causes crashes of Foxit Reader often. The ones coming in via regular mail are being scanned into a PDF file.
This app collects invoices which come in via e-mail and via regular mail. We use an Basware-based app called “IHS Master” for invoicing. One of the applications using Foxit PDF Reader to open PDFs embedded in the app, is Basware. We currently have Foxit Reader version 10.7 installed on our production Citrix servers. Many applications use the default PDF reader and have PDFs opened embedded within their software. At my company, Foxit PDF Reader is being used as default PDF reader.
